@freek77 Still interested in the lyrics? "Hulle vra vir ons waar is
jou dompas?" "Gaan julle slaap, wat soek julle hierso?" This song is
prob not what you think. In the 50' in SA, when moving through whites
areas, black people had to carry a "pass" called a "dompas". Failing
to do so could get you taken to the police station, in a police van.
These police vans were nicknamed "Kwela". So she opens the song with a
cry for help to her mother: "Kwela kwela, kwela kwela mama". Re-look
the vid now.
