what did we learn? we learned that they have pressurized hydrants
below ground in the street
we know it is a pressurized hydrant and not a cistern because? -
anyone? anyone? anyone? Bueller?
(because they put the soft hose on the hydrant thingy hydrant
standpipe hydrant chuck hydrant valve hydrant stem)
(it it was a cistern / water tank / non pressurized water source -
they would have to had used a hard hose - to suction / suck / draft
the water up to the pump)
Does Boston still have Lowry hydrants? ?spelling?
