MODERNIZATION AND IMPROVEMENTS OF
SERVICE OF THE FIREFIGHTER BODY INSIDE THE
STATE OF SÃO PAULO
Adopting the most modern management practices, consolidated in Decree
No. 65096 of July 30, 2020, which restructures the Military Police of
the State of São
Paulo, within this effort the Fire Department expanded its look to the interior
São Paulo creating three Regional Commands called the Fire Command of the
Interior with headquarters in Campinas, Bauru and Guarujá.
This action expands the integration of emergency care and emergency services.
prevention, integrating the Fire Department to the administrative
regions of the State,
expanding efficiency and improving the quality of services provided
for the benefit of
citizen.
An example of efficiency gains are the Fire Operations Centers,
called COBOM, which will now be perfectly integrated with modern and
technologically advanced COPOM (Military Police Operations Centers),
streamlining the service to citizens with the registration and forwarding of
occurrences for relief teams.
The Operations Center will also have representatives from other
security forces, among them, the Aviation Command of the Military
Police with its
Eagles helicopters, an indispensable tool in emergency services,
enabling, with agility and speed, the already known "flight for life".
Important to note is that with these new Centers, it will be possible to
increase of material and human resources for the operational service,
optimizing the
responsiveness in the cities covered by this strategy.
The full implementation of this effort should be completed by the end of
November 2020.
And so, with this action of regionalization and integration, we walked several
steps towards one of the maxims of the Fire Department professionals,
that is, "To save lives, every second counts".
