125 pm edt - now is not the time to return home - please stay out of
streets - PD on 12 hour shifts - no trouble keeping track of cops -
have received numerous calls for lotting - have made several arrests -
we are all at risk now
126 pm edt - 911 system is not operable - selective routing system has
suffered significant damage - ATT is working on repairs - all fire
stations have open bay doors - or flag down a police officer - will be
retooling how you can send texts to 911
129 pm edt - 8 electrical transmission lines feed New Orleans - 2,000
miles of Entergy transmission lines are down - have 4,500 electrical
workers doing damage assessments - premature to speculate when power
will be restored - 21,000 more electrical workers (enroute) -
generation system + transmission system + distribution system being
evaluated
