heard via 'broadcastify calls' yesterday from the statewide trs aka comirs
TalkGroup (TG] 4443 ... Worcester FD Dispatch ... verbal dispatches
from dispatcher ... aired only once per call ... station 51 tone set
for any multi company call ... single tone for single unit calls ...
no one but dispatcher heard ... 2 engines were sent to crash on I290
TG 4479 ... Worcester FD paging ...sounds like encrypted voice traffic
or data ... maximum length of messages was 11 seconds .. most messages
around 4 seconds long ... could be checked vs TG 4443 to see if the
messages happen at the same time
TG 4489 ..... Worcester EMS / CMED interops ... used by Worcester
medics to make notifications to hospitals when their UHF radios fail
... "Medic 6 on the 800"
TG 57 ... Massport FD Wide Area ... has random traffic apparently
linked or patched from the main Logan FD channel
TG 1229 ... Cambridge EMS 1 ... being used to give vaccines in an
apartment building ... radios 21354, 21294, 21348
Metro Fire North ... radio rollcall done by Belmont FD ... 930 am recently
TG 2507 ... Worcester County south mutual aid channel ... called
"Orange" ... mutual aid units arriving at a fire in Charlton at 350 am
on 1/5/2022 ... "Oxford Engine 1" was told to switch to "Charlton
Channel 2" by IC .... Dudley Engine 1 also heard and maybe other units
... one unit was told to dump their tank
TG 4485 ... Worcester EMS 2 ... used as a onscene channel for
Worcester EMS units at a water rescue ... at end units were switched
back to "Citywide" ... the dispatcher IDed as "Worcester" ... Car 4
and maybe p4 were at the scene ... maybe p1
TG 631 ... Worcester EMS Wide ... LifeFlight and Central heard ... the
Central dispatcher is located at Umass or Worcester ... 'are you
coming back here vs going to Bay State Medical Center?' ... yes we're
going back to Umass due to winds which make it a little faster ...
that was a call in Ware ... were going to use VTac11 but that didnt
work out ... also, initially helo could not go airborne until
dispatcher gave him the call or heading or lats/longs ... she sent him
the call electronically somehow apparently ... she did not give him
the call verbally on this TG ... it sounded like there was an
interlock or SOp that prevented liftoff before the call was formally
transferred to the helo ... Lifeflight launched with 3 SOB and
returned with 4 SOB ... actually they didnt use the term SOB .. they
just said something like 'enroute with 3' ... also gave fuel and maybe
eta ... "no unusual dangers" (something like that]
