Bear Mtn State Park has / had - Park Police + Park Forest Rangers +
Park Public Safety Rangers
Park Police maybe have merged into State Police maybe
Park Forest Rangers are concerned with wildfires and rescues
Park Public Safety Rangers are ????
NYS Forest Rangers are entirely different people - they have red fire
trucks and green suvs

on a entirely different note - NYC has their own Park Rangers in the
city - and they have some sort of police units in the watersheds
upstate in sullivan county and thereabouts

per a comment above - there are no longer any State Park Rangers in
NYC - NY State Police have taken over their jobs
