154.07 repeaters
each call is paged at least twice - first on the closest repeater -
one tone set plus 1 announcement with address and type of issue and
departments assigned - then repeated once on the 2nd closest repeater
some of the repeaters are heard very scratchy via the feed
fryeburg fire and rescue are dispatched by oxford county rcc - each
has their own tone sets - both seem to respond on 154.07R
base stations ("Fryeburg Fire Base" etc) seem to acknowledge all calls
within 1 minute but they dont take over radio comms it seems - all
response comms occur between field units and "RCC"
"RCC" is the county dispatcher
oxford sends engine 6 and an ambulance to ems calls - they request an
"inhouse medic" sometimes - if no one answers, they request a medic
from PACE (which is the als unit in norway maine it seems)
ambulance take patients to stephens and to bridgeton
also heard bethel rescue get paged for a call in upton on request of
errol nh rescue - they were cancelled in 5 minutes - that would have
been a 30 minute ride at least
3 digit ID numbers are used by some field units - there seems to be a
countywide numbering scheme - some other units heard were 'fryeburg
fire 2' etc
