construction underway at Marine 1 / Pier 53 - will increase pedestrian
access to the site
there are life preservers every 500 feet along west side manhattan
waterfront - they are enclosed in hard plastic orange shells that open
from the side - one was open along the way
while walking near end of stream - a fdny ambulance blasted by - and
at end of stream he caught a fdny engine backing into station - maybe
they had been at the ems call
there is a neighborhood he went thru at end of video where the
sidewalks are approx 3 feet wide - near some side street theatre -
narrow street and narrow sidewalks - a residential area
