many schools have been receiving FCC radio licenses

in the past 5 years many elementary and high schools have received FCC
radio licenses for security / admin campus type radio systems -
typically they are lower powered repeaters in the VHF or UHF ranges

many schools also have legacy radio systems for school buses

seldom have these local school systems used statewide TRS

in addition - there has been an explosion in the package delivery
system in the usa over the last 5 to 10 years - and a huge shift in
taxi service to on call ride share systems

what is the impact of these systems on public safety radio systems?
whats the game plan? will they all move to FirstNet at some point? if
so - why so? if not - why not?

pretty sure we have talked about this before - does it make sense for
every school, taxi, bus, train, van, cop car, fire truck, ambulance,
helo, plow, ship, factory, highrise, apartment building, nursing home,
library, etc, and plane to operate on different radio systems?
