lots of hard work went into this list
1 glitch - UNC Air Link info vs Viper TG info - something is out of place there
note - there are multi names for these programs apparently - legal
name vs npi number name vs any name found in faa records (N number or
air carrier) vs radio (viper etc) ID vs radio callsign vs lettering on
aircraft vs brand name vs info on their website etc
note - 'tar heel' IDs - dont match the brand name
note - med flight ceased ops feb 2024
note - funky channel pairs for UNC Air Care
note - Cape Fear Valley Medical Center (Formerly Lifelink)
note - many of the medevac programs seem to be dispatched by the same
people who dispatch the 'critical care' ground ambulances operated by
various hospitals for interfacility transports (IFT) - makes sense -
they have similar missions - share personnel - cover the same wide
areas - etc - therefore there are many large hospital chains that
operate large emergency communications systems now (this is happening
across the USA)
how soon before these IFT ground ambulances start responding to scene calls?
