Re: pickens county alabama lost their 2nd ambulance

https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1L84AAxNOrnHJbLDqvFHNSaHlRbbVzZs&usp=sharing

so far we have found 18 fire station for 17 FDs in Pickens County

1 station has 7 bays - 1 station has 6 bays - 3 stations have 5 bays -
7 stations have 4 bays - 4 stations have 3 bays - 2 stations have 2
bays

many stations also have flagpoles and high tornado sirens and tornado
shelters - but only 1 has a radio tower - and its huge - must be a
county or state tower - none of the other fire stations have any radio
antennas

its possible that none of the fire stations have bathrooms or offices
or meeting rooms - all FDs seem to be volunteer

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pickens_County,_Alabama - county
population is 18,000 - has been going down since 1940 when it was
27,000 - 40% black - 50% white

very weird that they claim to have lousy ems now - every one of those
FDs could be running an ALS ambulance - like they do in Maine
