previously fire and ambulance and sheriff shared a comm center
now - fire and ambulance and city FDs will share a fire/ems comm center
cant say we really like this idea - if 911 is the only phone number -
then there should be 1 comm center
but santa barbara county is huge - with big mtns - so more than 1
dispatch center might be useful there
but they could run 2 911 centers - santa maria plus santa barbara -
and have police and fire and ems in both centers
its kinda like rearranging chairs on the titanic - half dozen of these
- 6 of those - whatever - there will never be a perfect solution
