this is new deal that started approx 25 years ago - the ranchers got
formed into official groups - they serve as volunteer wildfirefighters
- they have their own radio channels typically - not sure how they get
dispatched officially - maybe via a telephone call from the local 911
center to their team leader - dont think that any of them have pagers
- oh well
oregon and idaho have them - maybe washington and montana also
iirc they are covered by state laws in oregon
dont think that any of them have been listed at fire fandom yet
