1.6.2.6. Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) As a GA airport,
there is no requirement for on-site ARFF at WVL. Emergency services
are provided by the Waterville Fire Department, as well as surrounding
townships for mutual aid if necessary. The nearest fire station to the
Airport is at 7 College Ave, which is an approximately 3.5-mile drive.
The Airport has recently acquired an Oshkosh P-19 ARFF vehicle from a
nearby airport.
