Heavy Rain In The Southwest; Tropical Storm Karen; Fire Weather In California

Moisture from the remnants of Lorena will contribute to heavy rain,
strong to severe thunderstorms and possible flooding across the
Southwest through Tuesday. Tropical Storm Warnings are now in effect
for Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, as Tropical Storm Karen
is forecast to pass on Tuesday. Elevated fire weather conditions are
expected for portions of California through Tuesday.

• Central Pacific: No tropical cyclones expected through the next 5 days
• Western Pacific: No activity affecting U.S. interests
