Helsinki FD has 8 stations and 400 firefighters - all have EMS training
there are - basic ambulances plus 4 medic ambulances + 1 doctor car
fire trucks have 3 to 5 firefighter / medics
this is for a city of approx 700,000 people
I suppose if they have a dozen basic ambulances - then they would have
16 ambulances on duty - which is approx 1 ambulance per 40,000
population - which is close to what my town has
