approx 2,000 out of hospital cardiac arrest cases - 50% were witnessed
- like 90% were medical in nature - 68% at home - 68yo males are
typical victims - response times average 12 minutes (but that might
be for paid crews only) - there is a separate fact that in 50% of
survivor cases they got a shock within 4 minutes of call dispatch
