If CAL FIRE serves as mendocino county fire warden but not as
mendocino county fire chief - if that is the case - does that mean
that cdf is responsible for all wildfires on sra and lga but not for
any structure fires and car crashes?
SRA = state responsibility area = the hills between the cities and the mountains
LGA = local government area = any wildland not protected by cdf or the feds
iirc in some counties CDF serves as the county fire chief - until just
now I did not appreciate the difference between a county fire chief
and a county fire warden
