dispatch on TRS .... incident channels are 700 mhz simplex channels
patched via p25 MO3 to 800 mhz conventional channels ... plus some FG1
channel
have they ever tried using any of their channels in their highrise
buildings or basements ? ... I bet they work like crap
Rule 1 ... TRS suck
Rule 2 ... patches suck
Rule 3 ... p25 sucks
Rule 4 ... any TRS with 1 xmit site sucks
Rule 5 ... any conventional channel with 1 xmit site sucks unless you
are in the Amarillo .. and even there I would bet that any 1
conventional repeater has lots of dead spots around the city
Rule 6 ... any radio system with multi synchronized sites probably
sucks inside a highrise ... especially when prone
Rule 7 ... no one cares about radios for firefighters ... if radios
kill someone just LIE about it
