most counties do NOT have fire districts (as seperate taxing entities) - some do
Jefferson County has a million tiny cities - very odd
Jessamine County has 1 sub area that gets 2 fire taxes
some cities are in more than 1 county
some counties have a countywide fire tax that usually excludes the cities
some counties put 'fire dues' on the tax bills - most dont
some counties have ambulance taxes
have not seen any police taxes
some school districts have merged recently
Jefferson County shows several fire districts that merged - maybe in
2022 - maybe earlier actually
