FDNY uses live footage drones as part of their firefighting arsenal.
Maybe the state of NJ can do the same thing for all of these FDs in
the garden state. They could even hire you on a PRN basis to do it for
them. That would be awesome. Maybe Google Maps can run a program to
add all of the FDCs on their maps and thus that way when a crew
arrives on scene they can just pop open a laptop wifi'd through cell
service pull up the google map on location and hit a button to find
the nearest FDC. Technology at use at its best as there is always room
for improvement. Special thanks to all first responders on this scene
and to UPS for installing a sprinkler system.
