there is a feed of the redding trs - there are at least 5 fire
channels being received on the feed now - Redding Fire Dispatch +
Redding Tac 1 + Redding Tac 2 + Shasta County Fire Dispatch + Shasta
County Fire Command

if Redding FD is moving to the 800 Mhz TRS - then we are sure that
County Fire is salivating over the chance of being able to scoop up
the 6 or 7 vhf highband channels that Redding FD formerly used

it would be sweet considering the County Fire / Cal Fire seems to have
very meager pickings for repeaterized channels - Cal Fire has 151.16
as their main repeater channel with approx 8 repeaters - plus 154.43
with 4 repeaters - and 151.175 with 2 repeaters in the Burney area as
Command 9 - and maybe 2 repeaters on CDF Command 1 - and maybe 2
repeaters on CDF Cmd 2 - with CDF Cmd 1 and CDF Cmd 2 being shared
statewide
