finally figured out Shasta County CA fire radio channels - maybe

possibly we have figured out the fire radio channels used outside
Redding California

the 2016 or 2018 or 2022 radio guide for the Shasta Trinity National
Forest lists -

10 repeaters for 151.16 R which is Cal Fire Shasta Local

4 repeaters listed for 154.43 R which is Shasta County Command - 1 is
at Inskip which is in the SE corner of the county all by itself (ie
there is no 151.16 repeater there)

15 or 16 repeaters listed for 171.575 R which is the Shasta Trinity NF
main channel

4 or 5 repeaters listed for 171.50 R which is the Shasta NF Service Net

Shasta County Tac 2 is 154.01

Shasta County Tac 3 is 153.95

there might be some Cal Fire Command 9 repeaters somewhere in Shasta
County - and some Cal Fire Command 1 and Command 2 repeaters also

This tells us that 154.43 R probably is not a dispatch channel since
it only has 4 repeater sites - it probably has many more dead spots
than 151.16 R

Bottom Line - its all pretty straight forward
