815 am - 2 minutes to radio test
dispatcher calls each company one by one - all radios in the company
are tested - the official IDs seems to be - Ladder 1 (officer) +
Ladder 1 Charlie + Ladder 1 Delta + Ladder 1 Echo + Ladder 1 Foxtrot
the Foxtrot units seem to be mostly "unassigned" ie no one is using
them - they are spares
many abbreviated callsigns were heard on the test - sometimes Ladder 1
D or just D or just Delta
units called were - Ladder 1 + Ladder 2 + Ladder 3 + Rescue 1 (maybe
had Roof HT also) + Air Unit + Engine 1 + 2 + 3 + 5 + 6 + 7 + 8 +
HazMat + Batt 1 + Batt 2 + Deputy 1
HazMat did not reply
Air Unit plus chiefs had just 1 radio each
Rescue 1 Delta radio was out of service
dispatcher has a triple quick beep on keyup
0825 test over - approx
deputy 1 and batt 1 did not reply to the test
also called - EMS 3,5,6,7 - none answered - 5 was on assignment

829 am - batt 1 made some announcement to all units and finshed with
"that is all"
832 am - two tone pager signal - "Signal 407" announced once - seemed
to be some incident
