only 4 engines responded during the entire fire
we arent talking about the first alarm - we are talking about the
entire response - in other words - at no time during the fire were
there more than 4 pumpers at the scene
thats why you dont see any fire trucks in any of the fire videos
and it makes sense since there were only around 25 engines on the
entire island - and the whole island was being pummelled by high winds
lahaina airport had 1 or 2 crash trucks - they could have been very
useful at the fire - but chances are that they were never sent to the
fire during the first 6 hours
there might have been 1 or 2 tankers lettered as "recycled water" that
were at the fire - unknown where they came from
