radio reference database is being updated / overhauled

off the top of my head
1. guy buys scanner and enters zip code ... scanner runs fine
2. guy now wants to know what the codes are and the jargon and engine
numbers and the medical codes etc
If the RRDB2 can cover Item and 2 . then hallelujah!
3. sometimes guy hears static and noise on scanner ... time to tell
guy to get a ham license ... or lookup some YT videos on repeaters and
land mobile radio
