rear porch on 4 family wood frame - building saved - knocked down by a
civilian with a hose maybe - there was heavy smoke showing at 1 point
the archived recording at broadcastify had a tone but no location was
announced and no box was beeped - maybe the feed has priority on FG
channels and people started to talk on the FG channels early so the
box was never heard being transmitted - but maybe they dont beep boxes
anymore and maybe they dont dispatch via radio anymore - or they
dispatch with no PL and the feed has PL
in any case
all fireground comms were loud and clear - and apparently on "Channel 2"
Car 1 arrived at the scene on "Channel 1" - and the dispatcher told
him he "could switch over to Channel 2"
"Engine 1" and "Engine 2" were lieutenants
"Tower 1" was the officer on ... Tower 1
"Engine 300" was the pump operator on Engine 3
Command was "Deputy"
1303 hours - 'probably will hold' per Command to Fire Alarm - bld saved
they did call a working fire on it - Everett Engine ?1? went into
Chelsea to cover - and a Revere unit did also - they called in on
Chelsea Channel 1 to the Chelsea dispatcher
