there is just 1 national forest in Louisiana - it is the Kisatchie NF

Forest Net (the main radio channel) is 170.4625 R 164.1375 input - or
- 170.4625 "Forest Simplex"

when mobiles and portables operate on "Forest Simplex" - 170.4625 -
they transmit a PL of 110.9 - not quite sure why that is - maybe it
allows the dispatcher to block out traffic from units on simplex - or
iT allows remote receivers to activate - or it marks the audio for a
recording system or something else - maybe it allows the various
Ranger Districts to listen for just simplex traffic in their local
area

there seems to be 1 repeater for each ranger district - except that
Calcasieu Ranger District is divided into 2 Units - and maybe the
Evangeline Unit in the Calcasieu RD has 2 repeaters

each repeater has a different PL on the input - as is common for
federal and state wildfire radio systems'

Air/Ground Primary is 167.375

Air/Ground Secondary is 166.95

another Tac channel is "State IA" 159.285 PL 110.9 - ie SW Compact for MS TX AR

time - unknown how accurate that is overall - some units might be out
of state at this time
