highband - 1990s - county built a trs at 800 mhz - usfs and cal fire
stayed at vhf highband pretty much - we suspect that everyone has
multiband radios now that can operate on both 800 mhz and vhf highband
- maybe not - in any case - this radio system on vhf highband is
intended to be the PRIMARY radio system for ALL wildfires in the area
