tested $30 3 watt radio vs $100 5 watt radio - car to car - 1/2 mile
range vs 2 mile range
no one in the comments really answered his question - why did he get
twice the range on all of the radios on a cloudy day? (one comment
said maybe less traffic therefore less vehicles to block the signals)
maybe he didnt really didnt get twice the range - maybe it just felt
like twice the range on a gloomy day
or maybe leaves were off the trees
or maybe it did have something to do with moisture content in the air
not a very precise nor accurate testing scenario - but it was very
much real world testing
maybe his wife was holding the radio differently than in the earlier tests
