this seems to be hilarious - the report says that FAA guidance
indicates that a general aviation airport should have 200 gallons of
foam and 275 pounds of dry chemical
"Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) equipment is not required at
airports that do not serve scheduled commercial passenger service with
10 or more passenger seats. Local municipal or volunteer fire
departments typically provide fire protection to general aviation
airports in their district."
the report then seems to say that East Fork FD should buy a crash
truck to serve the airport
East Fork FD probably got a good laugh from that

- they seek at least 1 person on duty daytime hours - too bad they
cant get that person to be arff trained and equipped
270 planes are based at the airport - sierra front wildfire dispatch
and minden helitack are located at the airport - it seems the
airtanker base moved out sometime after 2015 - maybe because there was
no arff there
