Re: [Public Safety USA Blog] Yellowstone Natl Park hired 6 firefighters for the summer

https://secretyellowstone.com/ynp-operations/fire-protection/

this seems to be info from 2005 - the newest fire rigs listed are from 2005

structural fire dept had 2 fulltime employees

wildland fire dept had approx a dozen summer time staff plus some fulltime staff

maybe since 2005 thet have added 6 summer firefighters for the structural FD

that would not be too shabby if they have staffing for all of their
stations and can roll all rigs to all calls - ie send both wildland
and structural units to most calls - except the structural trucks
probably cannot go way into the woods

lets see what fire fandom has to say about this -
https://fire.fandom.com/wiki/Yellowstone_National_Park_Fire_Department
- they got a couple of new minipumpers in 2017

lets hope they are not operating 30 year old pumpers still as their
primary units - what would be the point of doing that - too show
everyone hope cheap and foolish you really are?
