very nice list of most fire stations in Iredell County NC -
Mooresville and Statesville have around 5 stations each
notice that they help to fund some out of county FDs also
they have split ISO ratings - 5 miles - 5 to 6 miles - anyone over 6
miles is Class 10
but we all know that 6 miles on a level straight well maintained 60
mph road is different than 6 miles on a cow path in west virginia -
its 6 minutes vs 30 minutes
