best scheme for fd portable radio IDs

at Station 22

Engine 22 - Engineer 22 / Engine Driver 22 / Chauffeur 22 - Nozzle 22 - Hydrant 22 / Can 22 - Junior 22 - Assist 22  - Aide 22 - Rookie 22 - Puentes 22

Pump 22 - Pumper 22 - Nob 22 - Plug 22 - Barney 22 - Charlie 22 - Delta 22 - Xray 22 - Zebra 22

Wagon 22 - Wagon Driver 22 - Flow 22 - Adam 22 - Boyd 22 / Barney 22 - Charlie / Charles / Chuck 22 / Smith 22 / Afrida 22 / Ramon 22 / first name 22 / last name 22

that is 3 pumpers in 1 station - which is ultra rare and weird anyhow

Ladder 22 - Ladder driver 22 - Roof 22 - Tiller 22 - Hook 22 - Entry 22 - Escape 22 - etc

Aerial 22 - Aerial Driver 22 - 22 smith - 22 jones - etc - no stations have 2 aerials so this is moot anyhow

note - alpha bravo charlie delta are usually sides of the bld - would not want to conflict with that terminology

lets make this a nationwide scheme - merge all FDs into county fds - number all stations by county 1 to 300

then the nationwide callsign would be simple to remember and unique - - Los Angeles County Engine 522 - the only conflict would arise when a county name is used in more than 1 state - which probably happens alot for Washington / Jefferson / Lincoln / Greene / Orange - etc - but can be fixed easily - Washington County Maryland Engine 1 - Washington County Lousiaina Engine 1 - etc

radio IDs would be simple to program into radios - use FPIS code? - or use State Number + County Number + Engine Number - Allegheny County (?1?) Maryland (?25?) Engine1 would be Engine 25-1-1
