The feed set up being used is 2 SDR (software defined radio) usb
dongles connected to a mini computer.
The software being used is Trunk Recorder operate the SDR's.
Liquidsoap is used to upload the traffic to Broadcastify.
Trunk Recorder constantly monitors the control channel. When a
selected talk group is detected on the control channel the computer
tunes an SDR to the active channel. If more than one talk group
becomes acitve on the system, the SDR's and program are able to record
multiple converations at the same time. Once a transmission ends, a
audio recording is made. Then it is set to be uploaded. If multiple
files are recorded and need to be uploaded, they will uploaded in the
order they are recorded.
This allows for the listener to hear every transmission.

The feed set up being used is 2 SDR (software defined radio) usb
dongles connected to a mini computer.
The software being used is Trunk Recorder operate the SDR's.
Liquidsoap is used to upload the traffic to Broadcastify.
Trunk Recorder constantly monitors the control channel. When a
selected talk group is detected on the control channel the computer
tunes an SDR to the active channel. If more than one talk group
becomes acitve on the system, the SDR's and program are able to record
multiple converations at the same time. Once a transmission ends, a
audio recording is made. Then it is set to be uploaded. If multiple
files are recorded and need to be uploaded, they will uploaded in the
order they are recorded.
This allows for the listener to hear every transmission.

there is a mutual aid feed at broadcastify - it includes the RINS
channels and 154.28 and 154.295
from 10 am to 10 pm today - traffic heard was -
various county fire dispatchers alerting each to mutual aid calls -
Howard County MD - Prince Georges County MD - Franklin County PA -
Adams County PA - etc - probably was on 154.28
this seems to be a scanning receiver - one conversation started as
strong and then went to 75% noise - we suspect the comms were on
154.28 but the scanner then hopped to 154.295 and received the message
on the wrong channel (via FM adjacent channel bleedover)
nothing else was heard except for a couple of short data bursts
no virginia FDs were heard - didnt they have a NOVA (northern
Virginia) net? - was it on 154.265? or was it on 154.295?

seemed to be just 1 channel - the main channel
calls were being dispatched and responded to
